HammerDuck started with a simple frustration: homeowners post a project and lose all say in how it goes, while good contractors - especially smaller ones without a marketing budget - get priced out of ever being seen. We built HammerDuck to fix both problems at once.

$25/month
Bidding included. Free 30-day trial for new members. Your membership renews automatically each month at $25 until you cancel, which you can do at any time from your dashboard.
Launch offer: free for every Pro until December 1, 2026, and no card is needed until then. Your 30 free days start December 1, or the day you add a card if that is later.
- Nothing per bid, nothing per lead. Bid on the jobs you want. Each project takes up to five bids, and you can have ten open bids at a time.
- Card trouble? You get a grace period. If a payment fails, you keep full access for 3 days while you update your card (Founding Contractors get 14 days the first time). Nothing is lost if it is settled in time.
- Cancel anytime. No long-term commitment, no cancellation fees.
- No per-lead auction pricing and no bidding against other contractors just to be seen.
- No steep bulk discounts or unlimited tiers, by design - so the platform never structurally favors the highest-volume contractor over a smaller one.
- Once you have bid, the homeowner can message you and you can message them; their name, address, phone and email are shared with you only when they reply, accept your bid, or confirm a visit.
Become a Founding Contractor
HammerDuck is pre-approving a small number of Founding Contractors in the CSRA - only 3 per trade. Founding Contractors lock in $20/month instead of $25 for as long as their account stays active and in good standing, plus a Founding Contractor badge on their profile and bids for as long as the account stays in good standing. The badge reflects early membership only and is not an endorsement of quality by HammerDuck.

A marketplace that treats both sides fairly.
HammerDuck exists because homeowners deserve real input into their own projects, and contractors deserve a fair shot at winning the work - not just the ones with the biggest ad budget. We believe a good marketplace should make it easier for a two-person crew to compete for the same job as a large franchise, based on the quality of their bid, not the size of their marketing spend. That's why our pricing stays low and transparent: we'd rather help more contractors succeed at a fair price than squeeze the most revenue out of the fewest. We're also starting small and staying focused: HammerDuck currently serves the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) only, so we can get this right for our own community before expanding anywhere else.
